Cooking for a crowd and making celebration meals usually leads to leftover food.
Don’t throw it away, put your leftovers to good use! I had cut everything, except for the Brussels sprouts and cauliflower on Thursday during the Thanksgiving-cooking-marathon.
I topped the roasted veggies with leftover turkey to warm it up (yes one pan) and served it over a salad for us & with wheat quesadillas for the kids. Next time you cook a big holiday meal just chop a few extra veggies to put in the fridge for another dinner.
Repurpose leftovers to save time during busy weeknights. Get as much out of each cooking session to save yourself prep time later. I’ve become a bit of a leftover magician but love discovering new techniques.
What are some creative ways you use leftovers? Do tell!
