In most families, women still ‘own’ the majority of household and childcare responsibilities. And the crushing amount of this, never-done work, competes with the time and mental space required to manage their careers. Yet it’s this often invisible, unpaid work, that’s critical to having a stable and healthy infrastructure at home. It’s time we correct this disparity and recognize it’s negative impact on Mothers and our economy.
