When we become Mothers, all of that energy we applied to self-care, especially creative pursuits, is often replaced by school drop-offs, appointments, a myriad of kid activities and the growing list of household responsibilities. The time and energy may not be there for anything else.
But having a creative outlet is not only good for your soul, it can have positive mental health benefits too. You don’t have to be an artist and there are no rules. Your creative expression is uniquely yours to define.
