Some companies rose to meet the needs of their employees, despite not always knowing exactly how to do so, during the pandemic. But that effort and energy, towards making their people whole and happier, has led to greater trust, engagement and loyalty. In our study we’ve found that most organizations haven’t. And instead offer a form of ‘false flexibility’ where workers are told they can ‘work when and where they want’ while they’re measured against impossible goals and try valiantly to succeed without the right resources. We know how strong and resilient Mothers are but it’s not good for anybody to endure unnecessary stress during an already incredibly stressful time (like a pandemic.) There is a better way!
