It’s time to end the many stigmas attached to working-motherhood.
The dated belief, that we can’t be ‘all-in’ for our careers while raising a family, still lingers. But when we do ‘go for it’ professionally, we’re also judged. Or worse, pushed out or aside for promotions, opportunities & the growth we crave. Yet, Moms are still making extraordinary contributions at the top of almost every field while (constantly) adapting to changes within our families.
When there are sacrifices and setbacks (and there will be) remember that it feels hard because it IS HARD! It doesn’t make you less awesome it’s just that changing work to be inclusive and family-friendly, is a slow often thankless revolution we didn’t plan to be a part of.
Modern work hasn’t caught up and the people in it, don’t always know how to support us. It can feel lonely but Moms are designing their lives to fit their families every day!
