Moms tend to feel guilt when practicing self-care.
We’ve been conditioned to believe it’s about pampering ourselves. Self-care can be as simple as going for a walk or taking the time to read a book.
As moms, we generally put other’s needs before our own, but that’s not necessarily a good thing. We’re taught to think it should be episodic but self-care can become a part of our routines and daily rhythm.
Finding joy in something that allows you to escape for a moment or enrich yourself, is good for you and your family will benefit too!
