Even on the days that are tough, your strength and love are part of what holds your family and community together. After watching our own Mothers and Grandmothers we’ve been conditioned to believe being at home = being busy.
We need to completely rethink this dynamic while sheltering-in-place and hopefully beyond. Can you imagine self-care in place? Unapologetic relaxation, in the full view of your loving family? It may seem impossible but we are living surreal times.
May this be the turning point for we need to live fully, with breaks, right in your own lives. At home.
That instead of rushing in to serve everyone around us, we take this Mother’s Day to believe in our hearts that we’re already doing enough. We can create space for ourselves in this new world at home and preserve our precious energy.
Wishing you a healthy and happy Mother’s Day, please enjoy “The Hidden Heroes of This Pandemic.” Spoiler alert, it’s you!
