We love our families and take extraordinary steps to ensure they are happy and healthy, but at what cost? How many of us have sacrificed “our time” because someone else needed us? How many of us have been ill but made sure the laundry was done and food was on the table?
It’s common to stretch ourselves to the mental, physical and emotional breaking point. And the pandemic has only increased the stress and mental load the we carry.
We put so much pressure on ourselves to be “on” for others that we are forget the importance of caring for ourselves!
