I think many of us had unrealistic expectations during this pandemic. After the initial shock, we started to plan. We were going to tackle those vexing household projects or use the lack of commute to be even more productive in our work. All of this while homeschooling our children, finding new ways to buy toilet paper and sanitizing everything that comes into our homes.
The reality has been far different for many of us. We’re doing more and how we do it now is completely different. The days blend and the responsibilities seem endless. There isn’t a handbook on how to navigate a global pandemic, so despite our best intentions, sometimes we just need to surrender to the fact that it’s ok to not be ok. In those tough moments, give yourself a little grace, you deserve it!
