So, I loved Eve Brodsky’s description of how this pandemic has forced the ‘dirty dozen’ onto Moms in most homes, during the BlogHer Healthy at Home event, I also winced because it’s a frequent source of tension in my marriage. She described how Moms choose the age-old “it’s just easier to do it myself” time trap, rather than remind our partners for the 100th time (insert eye-roll) of their responsibilities.
Unhappy with the roles at home? Now is the time to fix it. It may seem ridiculous to add more to our plates during a pandemic but the reality is, communication with our partners is the only solution to changing uneven dynamics at home.
