“It’s no secret that working parents are struggling right now. They are being crushed by the overwhelming weight of work, household and childcare responsibilities. And the demands have driven millions, mostly women, out of the workforce.
But countless others don’t have the luxury of stepping away and must endure the constant strain of trying to make the impossible work.
But why don’t we ask for help? Unfortunately, in a weak global economy, most will suffer in silence to avoid appearing ‘vulnerable’ with their employers. We’ve had over 1,200 parents share their experiences of working during Covid and although a majority said their employers haven’t been supportive, there were many examples of parents receiving wonderful benefits & resources at work.
