The old model of being ‘on call’ for work all day and then pouring more hours into projects after the kids go to sleep doesn’t work in a pandemic.
We’re exhausted! Over 1,000 parents, mostly Moms (94%) have shared what they need to manage work and life right now. Many are at their breaking point and if they can afford it, are leaving the workforce. Many of us are in the midst of back-to-school and nothing about it is the same this year. As we help our kids navigate the new not-so-normal, while trying to manage the household and work obligations, we need flexibility.
It’s time for organizations to become allies. I’ve spent countless hours researching and surveying Moms and Dads to help change the way work ‘works’ for parents. If you would like to take this survey, click the link above. Your participation is greatly appreciated.
