Dr. Shusmita Dhar, M.D.
Shusmita’s goal is to help patients establish healthy lifestyles and habits they can sustain to prevent disease. When illnesses do arise, she strives to treat them in a thoughtful and minimalist way. She’s especially passionate about working with patients on stress management and mental health as well as helping adolescents and young adults address their unique health needs. To stay healthy, Shusmita gets regular exercise by jogging, hiking in the woods, and taking leisurely strolls with her dog. In her free time, she enjoys reading/writing fiction and spending time with her family. She’s also an active volunteer at her children’s school. Shusmita earned her medical degree from Brown University School of Medicine and completed her medicine/pediatrics residency at the Harvard Medicine-Pediatrics Residency Program. She’s board-certified in internal medicine, pediatrics, and lifestyle medicine.
CC Maher, CPT & MA
CC, is a Certified Personal Trainer, Group Exercise instructor and the CEO of Benefitness Health Club for Women. With a Master’s Degree in Psychology, she began her fitness career in corporate wellness, fitness programming and management. She brought onsite fitness and wellness into corporations such as: TJX Companies, Digital, Microsoft, Kronos and many more. In 2008, she purchased and reinvented Fitness Unlimited into Benefitness, which provides an intimate and supportive exercise environment to over 1,100 women. Her motivational approach to fitness inspires members of her classes to achieve She’s also a competitive Equestrian and Mom to two spirited daughters.

Dr. Yael Schonbrun, PhD
Yael is a licensed clinical psychologist, assistant professor at Brown University, podcast co-host, and writer about parenting, work, and relationships. Follow her great adventure including news about her upcoming book, The Gift of Conflict, on her website, and on Twitter. Heather Wise, MPH is a certified holistic health coach, wellness consultant, herbalist, certified yoga instructor, and author of the book, A Gut Feeling: Conquer Your Sweet Tooth by Tuning Into Your Microbiome. She studied with pioneers in the field of holistic wellness at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, accredited by Columbia University’s Teacher’s College and the American Association of Drugless Practitioners and holds a Masters degree in Public Health from Boston University School of Public Health. Additionally, Heather has worked in health communications at a some of the most robust and pioneering preventative health organizations in the country including the Massachusetts Department of Public Health Division of Prevention and Wellness, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Department of Prevention and Wellness. She has crafted her own unique message on the transformative power of re-balancing the gut microbiome using the latest scientific research and has been invited to speak and give workshops at yoga studios, wellness centers, and universities, including at Harvard Medical School. She lives in the Boston area with her husband and children.
