The number of Mothers who have left the workforce during Covid is staggering but not surprising.
Pre-pandemic, nearly 50% of Mothers left the workforce due to childcare at some point in their careers.
What’s disturbing is that the way we work, in most organizations and industries, hasn’t evolved to make it easier for caregiving responsibilities and careers to fit together.
The pandemic, however, has sparked meaningful discussions about changing the ‘rules’ of work.
