I get it. We all feel super-conflicted about taking time for ourselves. But self-care is an essential part of physical, emotional and mental well-being. And during times of crisis (ahem, now) it’s necessary to help combat overwhelm.
Due to the pandemic, many have sacrificed their “personal” time for the sake of their families, households and work. And now that we are five months in, the reality that this ‘not-so-normal’ will continue for the foreseeable future is straining our mental health. So, wellness has come back onto the priority list.
In the most recent post, This is not About Self-Care. This is About Your Sanity, I’ve shared some of the responses from the over 1,000 parents who have responded to the pandemic survey.
I also interview Dr. Charmain about actionable steps we can take to help incorporate self-care back into our daily routines. If you would like to take our survey, click the link in the bio. Your participation is greatly appreciated!
