A few weeks ago our founder Leslie Forde was invited by The Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) as a member of the Black Economic Council of Massachusetts (BECMA) to join local leaders in government, research, and business, to discuss the devastating impact of the pandemic on women in the workforce. And the disproportionate losses for women of color.
It was a wonderful opportunity to discuss how we can champion meaningful systems change with amazing women, including Massachusetts Senate President Karen Spilka; Boston NAACP President Tanisha Sullivan, Esq.; and Massachusetts Business Coalition for Early Childhood Education founding member Saskia Epstein.
