It’s particularly tough when there’s so much going on, that regardless of what we try, the invisible “to-do” list constantly runs through our minds. Even the most organized among us continuously juggles schedule changes across work, family and more. So how DO you combat that persistent feeling of overwhelm? That nagging worry something has ‘fallen’ off the list? My infrastructure was in need of an overhaul and I recently read and reviewed David Allen’s book, “Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity.” Although he’s not a Mom or parent, the book is about reducing the mental-load. I learned helpful techniques and wanted to share 3 top ‘GTD’ takeaways on how to alleviate the stress. Spoiler alert-there’s no quick fix, it takes time and commitment.
