After coming home from work, the last thing we want is to think about dinner, homework and the bedtime ritual. And if you’re really lucky (gasp) laundry! But even in 2020 the majority of the housework and childcare still falls on Moms, when partnered to a Dad, even when we’re working. When household and childcare responsibilities are imbalanced, it creates a TON of tension and resentment in our relationships. So what can you do about it? Open up a dialogue with your partner. Don’t be afraid to speak up and voice concerns and frustrations, even if it’s hard. In many cases your significant other may have no idea how you’re feeling.
